Training workshop for Indian Forest Service officers
On behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, WWF-India organizes training programs for in-service Indian Forest Services officers for updating the knowledge and skills as well as bringing the change in attitude for managing the natural resources of the country through organizing specialized tailor-made courses on specific topics.
Following is a list of programmes organized in the past two years and the forthcoming training workshop during 2007-08:
One week training programme on “Impact of Global Warming and Climate Change on Forests and Biodiversity” held on November 21-25, 2005
Two day training workshop on “Integrating Conservation and Development” held on November 08-09, 2006
Forthcoming training workshop:
Two day training workshop on “Financial constraints in efficient conservation and management of forests- need for payment for ecological services by the people” scheduled on October 29 -30, 2007
