Sustainable Livelihoods


Livelyhood
The Sustainable Livelihoods programme has been set up to provide strategic guidance and capacity building to existing and ongoing field programmes across all divisions of WWF-India. In addition, the programme is also expected to contribute to national and regional policy dialogue.


The main focus of this programme is
• Strategic/Technical Support and Capacity Building to/for field projects

• Networking Support/Representation: Represent WWF-India on key dialogue platforms related to participatory resource management, poverty and environment etc.,

• Policy Analysis and Documentation: Mainly need to strengthen our work at the policy level to ensure that participatory conservation approaches are understood and accepted by policy makers.

• Monitoring and Lessons learning: Assist field staff in developing and implementing mechanisms to measure process and impact of community participation/sustainable livelihoods in conservation
