TRAFFIC
TRAFFIC - the wildlife trade monitoring network, a joint programme of WWF and IUCN - The World Conservation Union has re-established its office in India as a division of WWF. It is the only wildlife trade organisation with the expertise and ability to bring together global data on various issues to help regulate markets and inform governments and the public.
In India, TRAFFIC will undertake in-depth research, assist the law-makers and collaborate with the government and like minded people as well as organisations to ensure that illegal trade in wildlife and its detrimental effects is not a threat to the conservation of nature.
