The world today is teaching us an invaluable lesson- human health is
linked to our planet and its diversity. The importance of restoring the
balance between humans and nature has now become imperative for
our wellbeing and survival.
With the nationwide closure of the schools and discouragement
of public activities, our homes have become a sanctuary for both
learning and play.
The perfect solution to build a positive environment for our children
at home is by connecting them to nature.
So we decided to transform our formal whole school education
programme - Ek Prithvi into a digital model to enter every home
in the country - Ek Prithvi Ek Ghar or One Earth One Home.
The programme is aligned with multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)and is designed especially for students from government or government-aided schools across the country.
One Earth One Home is a short and flexible digital journey. It is filled with interactive activities and engaging videos
that will build knowledge and skills among students and foster greener habits among families.
The programme is divided into three small and simple steps:
SEEK and FIND
Discover and explore nature in your homes from the windows to the balconies
LOOK and LEARN
Conduct audits and adopt greener habits
DISCUSS and DO
Build a greener home with family and friends
