‘Beach Clean-up at Dadar Chowpatty’
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2010 on Saturday, June 5, the World Wide Fund for Nature- India (WWF- India), Maharashtra State Office conducted a two hour beach clean-up drive at Dadar Chowpatty with the help of Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The aim was to make the common man aware of his impact on the environment. Volunteers in large numbers participated in the drive and collected plastic bags, cloths, nirmalya, laboratory, medical and other waste from the beach.

‘Creative Science Workshop for Students’
Dr. Goldin Quadros was invited by the Nehru Science Centre to deliver a talk. About 150 students from various schools of Mumbai attended this workshop.
